STEM Ambassador in Scotland Week 2025

February 3rd - 7th

STEM Ambassadors in Scotland Week is an opportunity for us at SSERC to celebrate all of our wonderful STEM Ambassadors! This week is all about you: we have opportunities to find new ways to volunteer each day of the week, as well as lots of ways to get more involved in our community of STEM Ambassadors. Previous SAIS Weeks have been really successful, and we have loved hearing from all our volunteers, educators, and partners during the week - and 2025 will be no different.

Here are some ways you can get involved:

Join our partners throughout the week for information and training sessions

These are great ways to find out about opportunities to actively volunteer all over Scotland; click on the links in our SAIS Week calendar to find out more and sign up!

Plan a STEM Ambassador Coffee Morning during the week

Invite fellow STEM Ambassadors from within your organisation to join you for a drink and a catch up, talk all things STEM Ambassador and share on social media #SAISWeek2025. Coffee morning pack.

We will also host an online coffee morning for anyone that would like to join!

Resource Loan Library

We are excited to announce that we have been working hard to get our Resource Loan Library up and running! These are physical kits/resources that STEM Ambassadors can borrow for an activity with young people.

The first request window will be open for kits to be sent out between January 13th - February 7th, with resource returns being processed between March 17th - March 28th.

To request resources you will fill in a Microsoft Form and input information about the intended activity: https://forms.office.com/e/ZG0rVCjryq

More details as well as a Resource Hub page will be available in the new year! Stay tuned to find out more.

Celebrate on social media

We will share digital badges with all our volunteers who have taken part in an activity in the last 12 months - we suggest sharing these on social media along with your story and #SAISWeek2025, tag us too STEM Ambassadors in Scotland on LinkedIn and @ScotSTEMAmb on X/Twitter.
