First Lego League Training Session

UHI Moray will host a training session for Teachers and STEM Ambassadors to find out more about LEGO Spike Prime Robots kits and how to construct and programme them, in readiness for helping with First Lego League. This is a world-wide competition where young people, working in teams,  programme their robots to complete challenges within a set time. STEM Ambassadors are required to support and mentor teams in 8 Secondary Schools in the Moray area who are participating in First Lego League this year.  

The Training session will be provided online by Raising Robots over a TEAMS call but it is useful for Teachers and STEM Ambassadors to be in the room together to meet and try out the kits, under the virtual guidance of the trainer. After this session, STEM Ambassadors will be able to guide and help young people with their robots.
