Digital Critical Friends

The ScotlandIS Digital Critical Friends aims to encourage and inspire young people to study computing science and pursue a career in tech while helping industry form relationships with secondary schools.

Created to support those teaching computing science to ensure that learners are getting the most from the subject. The Digital Critical Friend will work with the teacher over the course of the year providing them with industry insights and guidance as to how to curriculum fits with industry. This is your opportunity to find out the challenges and opportunities your partnership represents and engage in discussions about the current curriculum and industry practices, which can then feed directly into the teaching and learning within the school.
